Girlyman requires:
- PA System with at least 14 XLR inputs (preferably 16)
- 13-channel Snake to reach from the mixer to stage left
- 3 Boom Mic Stands with clips (for vocal mics)
- Sufficient Mics and Mic Stands for Drum
Kit
(at least a snare, kick, and one overhead, additional mics for
hi-hat, rack tom and floor tom when available)
- 1 Floor Wedge Monitor (with its own mix)
- 2 Grounded (3-prong) Electrical Outlets
(1 on each side of the stage)
Girlyman also requires a knowledgeable sound person to help set-up the sound board and insure that the system functions well. The band travels with a tech who generally runs the sound board during the performance. Girlyman also requires a full (at least one hour) soundcheck after set-up.
NOTE: At the present time, three members of Girlyman are using an in-ear monitor system, so only one monitor is required (for the drummer, JJ).
Girlyman uses all of its own microphones and D.I. Boxes, except for those on the drums.
