Girlyman is an infectious combination of rock music, folk songs, classical roots, punk sensibilities and just plain fun. Its record label - Clever Shark - describes the trio's music as "Delicious Acoustic Harmony-driven Pop."

The last time guitarists-vocalists Tammy Greenstein and Doris Muramatsu appeared at The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown, they performed as the duo "the garden verge." With the addition of multi-instrumentalist Nate Borofsky, they changed their name and expanded their aural landscape with percussion, accordion and another voice.
